The origin of Junsei Educational Institute goes back to Dr. Tsutomu Kake who recognized the necessity of educationĀ in war-torn Hiroshima after experiencing WWII. He believed that educating the Japanese public was crucial to recovering from the devastation of the war and to not repeating the tragedy of war in the future. In order to achieve this objective, Dr. Kake emphasized fully developing the intellectual capacity of students and international intellectual education. Eisu Gakkan was established in 1961 as the first step toward his goal. Since then, Dr. Kake established Kake Educational Institution (Okayama University of Science, Kurashiki University of Science and Arts, Chiba Institute of Science, Okayama University of Science High School, Okayama University of Science Junior High School, Okayama University of Science Specialized Training College, Tamano Institute of Health and Human Services, Kurashiki Cuisine and Culinary Ware College), Junsei Educational Institution (TEI) (Kibi International University, Kibi International University Junior College, Kyushu University of Health and Welfare, Junsei School of Nursing, Institute of Health and Human Services of Kyushu University of Health and Welfare), Hiroshima Kake Educational Institution (Eisugakkan elementary school, Eisugakkan junior High School, Eisugakkan High School), Junsei Welfare group (Junsei nursery school, Green Hill Junsei), Yuki Educational Institution (Yuki kindergarten). And thus Kake Group has grown to a large corporate group which run six educational institutions (32 schools) and one social welfare company.
